LAW 9615 - Family Law


An introduction to the law pertaining to the formation, operation, and dissolution of the family. Course includes the study of laws regulating marital and non-marital relationships (including same-sex marriages, civil unions, and cohabitation); laws and public policies governing dissolution of marriage, spousal support, and property division; child custody, support and visitation; and contemporary directions in the reform of family law.
