CSG 6000 - Counseling Residency I

Prerequisite(s): MPSY 5050 , CSG 5250 , CSG 5400 , CSG 5410 .
This one week, approximately 40-hour intensive face to face course will focus on assisting students to develop and practice basic individual and group counseling skills. Students will participate in role play scenarios to practice these skills. During residency, students will also have time to meet with their academic advisors to discuss the progress in the program and their emerging identity as a mental health counselor.
