Commission of Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM)
The health information technology associate degree program and the health information management baccalaureate degree program are both accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) (http://www.cahiim.org), the body that accredits health informatics and health information management educations programs to ensure the development of a workforce that meet the needs of an information-intensive industry. CAHIIM accreditation qualifies Indiana Tech graduates of both the associate and baccalaureate degree programs to sit for the Registered Health Information on Technician (RHIT) exam and Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) exam, respectively.
