HSC 4950 - Health Science Internship

Prerequisite(s): HSC 1100; HSC 1500; HSC 2020; GPA of 3.00 or higher; Permission of instructor.
Health Science Internship is an external, on-site experience in a health care-based or Allied Health-based clinic, hospital, institution, office, or facility. Internships require 100 hours of on-site contact hours per semester hour of credit, a grade point average of 3.00 or higher, and a demonstration of professional maturity. Internships are developed in consultation with a faculty internship adviser and require approval and agreement between the prospective host internship supervisor/site and the academic institution. Evaluation is made by the internship adviser, in consultation with the host internship supervisor. Credit(s): 1-3
