HIM 3700 - Principles of Health Care Mgmt

Prerequisite(s): HIT 2605 with a grade of C or better.
The student will gain an understanding of the four functions of management: planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. The activities of the manager (planning, organizing, decision-making, staffing, motivating, control mechanisms, and budgeting) are detailed with examples from a variety of healthcare settings in an environment of adaptation and survival.
