EE 4300 - Principles of Communication

Prerequisite(s): EE 3150.
The basic principles of the design and analysis of modern communication systems are introduced. Topics covered include brief review of probability theory, performance analysis of modulated communication systems, digital modulation and demodulation, performance of digital modulation schemes, overview of information theory and key aspects of error control coding.
