CJ 3300 - Victimology


Prerequisite(s): CJ 1100.
This is a course with a specific focus on emerging areas in the field, such as the consequences of victimization and empowering victims. The concentration will be on both traditional and modern approaches to victims’ issues and concentrates on issues affecting both victims and victim service providers. The course will follow the general guideline of the text, however, and quite frequently, we will move outside of the text for material.
