EE 2050 - Overview of Electricity and Electronics Prerequisite(s): MA 1055. An introductory course in electrical science for non-electrical engineering students and computer science majors. The course extends the student’s knowledge of electrical components and circuits, network analysis methods, and simple dynamic circuits in DC Transient and AC steady state. This background is then used in the study of transformers, simple semiconductors, op-amps power supplies, oscillators and optoelectronics.
