IS 1400 - Visual Communication

Prerequisite(s): IS 1200.
This course provides an introduction to concepts in visual design and communication. Topics include graphic elements, style, grids, typography, color, organization, proportion and scale. This course also will present common errors made in visual design and practical techniques for correcting these errors. Students will demonstrate the ability to improve the visual quality and effectiveness of user interfaces and multimedia productions by presenting and evaluating existing and original work to the class.
