ME 4210 - Thermal Science Investigations

Prerequisite(s): ME3200.
Continuation of Thermodynamics I. First-law and second- law applications. Gas mixtures, combustion, chemical equilibrium, power cycles, refrigeration cycles and energy conversion systems. Major focus on open-ended, laboratory design exercises involving thermodynamics cycle analysis that integrates previously acquired fluid mechanics and heat transfer principles and skills.
