Indiana Tech’s Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science - Strength & Conditioning is ideal for those interested in sports performance, personal training, and strength and conditioning. This degree track prepares students for certification by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In addition, this degree track could prepare students to apply for more intensive study in athletic training or advanced certifications.

Students will be able to:

  • Perform proficiency in fitness assessments.
  • Develop safe and effective exercise programs based on the FITT principles for diverse populations.
  • Communicate to various audiences using effective interpersonal skills.
  • Evaluate behavior modification strategies to promote and maintain a physically active lifestyle.
  • Develop safe and effective exercise programs for athletic performance improvement.
  • Develop an injury prevention program.
