MA 1010 - Basic Algebra

Prerequisite(s): MA 1000 with grade C or better.
Real numbers, algebraic expressions, basic rules of algebra, ratios and proportions, exponents (including negative exponents and rational exponents), radicals, formulas, Cartesian plane, distance between points, midpoint of a line segment, polynomials, operations on rational expressions and solving linear equations and inequalities (in one variable).
