HIT 1350 - Intermediate Coding

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisites: HIT 1100 and BIO 1210 with a C or better.
Introduces Current Procedural Teminology (CPT) and the Health Care Common Procedural Coding System (HCPCS) Level II. Outpatient procedural coding including evaluation and management coding is the concentration. Coding compliance and adherence to official guidelines is stressed.
