IS 2200 - Developing Business Solutions Prerequisite(s): IS 1100 or IS 1150 ; ACC 1010 or OL 3400 An introduction to solving business problems through the application of information technology. Using spreadsheet and database productivity software students solve problems including inventory management, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, financial analysis, sensitivity analysis, human resource tracking and small application development. Topics such as worksheet formatting, Macro building, financial functions, data and regression analysis, database design, queries and sorting, interface design, business and marketing research, and competitive intelligence are covered.
