EE 3650 - Circuits Laboratory Prerequisite(s): EE 3100 or concurrent registration. This course introduces students to experimental practices in an electrical circuit laboratory. Students will learn practical aspects of electrical engineering and important practices and habits for the engineer. The laboratory portion of the class will introduce students to (1) common laboratory instruments (including the power supply, multimeter, oscilloscope and signal generator), (2) design and perform laboratory experiments and (3) analyze and interpret the experimental data. Students will also learn to work in teams and with a partner, as well as how to communicate the results by writing laboratory reports. Credit(s): 1 (0 plus 3)
