MA 1200 - Calculus I Prerequisite(s): MA 1090 with grade C or better. Limits, continuity and derivatives are the focus of this course. The derivatives of polynomials, rational, trigonometric, inverse trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions are studied. Techniques of differentiation include using appropriate rules, implicit and logarithmic differentiation. Applications include related rates, differentials, optimization and curve analysis.
