BIO 1360 - Principles of Biology II Lab Co-requisite(s): BIO 1350 . This co-requisite lab course for BIO 1350 is designed for science majors and provides hands-on experience in molecular biology, genetics, and evolution. Students will conduct experiments to explore the structure and function of biomolecules, gene expression and regulation, inheritance mechanisms, and the molecular basis of evolution. The lab emphasizes scientific inquiry, data analysis, and effective communication of biological concepts through visual representations and presentations. Students will also critically evaluate ethical issues such as genetic engineering, cloning, CRISPR technology, stem cell research, and biodiversity conservation. Credit(s): 1
