CJ 4320 - Fundamentals of Crime Analysis Prerequisite(s): CJ 2500.
An overview of the variety of analytical techniques utilized in law enforcement to describe and understand crime patterns and trends as they occur in contemporary society. The learner will also be exposed to the basic stages of crime analysis: collection of data, the collation of that data, analysis of data, dissemination of data, and feedback and evaluation of the end users of crime analysis data. 3 credits.
