Criminal Justice, B.S.

The criminal justice program includes courses in criminal investigation, police work, corrections, juvenile justice, police operations, crime scene analysis, criminal profiling, and law, that prepare our students for a variety of careers.

Program Learning Outcomes

  1. Explain the legal system of the United States.
  2. Summarize the major components of the criminal justice system.
  3. Present written and oral communication skills relating to the elements of the criminal justice system.
  4. Explain the role of the criminal justice professional within the limitations of our Constitution.
  5. Examine the importance of ethical behavior within the criminal justice environment.
  6. Assess issues related to diversity within the criminal justice system.
