Human Services, B.S.


The Human Services program prepares learners for a variety of careers with social service agencies and organizations. The program provides foundational, practical, and leadership skills to assist individuals, families, groups, and communities.

Student Learning Outcomes

1. Apply concepts and principles from human services courses to work settings. 

2. Design treatment plans utilizing the appropriate theory. 

3. Execute fundamental helping and assessment techniques. 

4. Evaluate the structure and function of human services organizations. 

5. Engage with individuals and communities from various backgrounds and ensure inclusive service delivery.  

6. Apply research methods, analyses, and interpretation for human services’ context. 

7. Apply professional ethics and standards in human service settings.
