Psychology is the scientific study of behavior and mental processes, offering insights into human nature and self-understanding. The program at Indiana Tech covers topics such as human development, sensation and perception, unconscious influences, memory, intelligence, personality, brain function, social behavior, and psychological disorders. It aims to prepare students for entry-level careers in psychology.
Graduates with a psychology degree can pursue careers in human services, HR, sales, law enforcement, market research, childcare, education (with additional credentials), elderly care, and work with developmentally impaired individuals. They can also enter graduate programs in psychology, business, healthcare, law, and more.
