The Forensic Science Certificate will provide students with access to introductory courses in Science, Forensic Science, and Criminal Justice. The program will prepare students academically to continue studies towards A.S. or B.S degrees in Forensic Science and Criminal Justice.

Program Learning Outcomes

Describe the role of basic scientific disciplines in forensic science.
Explain the role of the forensic science disciplines in criminal investigation.
Describe the key components of criminal investigation.
Explain the concepts that guide and direct the system of justice in contemporary society.

Prerequisites/corequisites for the courses within the Forensic Science certificate will not be enforced.
