GHL 6350 - Applied Health Analytics on Social Determinants Prerequisite(s): None. This course focuses upon how the use of predictive models can develop global strategies to better inform health care delivery and health outcomes. An introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics will provide insight into the behavior and attitudes of individuals. AI will allow the exploration of well-being and disease prevention strategies. Students will be able to identify and understand the role of social determinants and other issues on health and health equity. A predictive model will be created through the use of community, clinical and social determinate data to identify a community hotspot. Credit(s): 3
