The criminal justice program includes courses in criminal investigation, police work, corrections, juvenile justice, police operations, crime scene analysis, criminal profiling and law which prepare our students for a variety of careers.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge of the legal system of the United States.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the major components of the criminal justice system.
- Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the role of and limitations on criminal justice professionals in our constitutional system.
- Understand the importance of ethical behavior.
- Recognize and be sensitive to issues related to diversity.
