BIO 1000 - Introductory Biology Prerequisite(s): None. This course brings cellular and molecular biology into focus as students decipher the inner workings of the cell, the basic unit of all living things. Topics include introductory biochemistry, applied cell biology, and historical genetics with an extension into molecular biology. Students will gain an understanding of basic cell functions while enjoying timely discussions on health, disease, and pharmaceutical interventions. Credit(s): 3
