CD 2010 - Middle Childhood and Adolescent Development Prerequisite(s): CD 2000 . This course examines developmental stages and characteristics of individuals from middle childhood through adolescence as they transition from childhood to adulthood. Students will explore physical changes such as brain development and puberty; cognitive development and intelligence; and factors that impact social and emotional development including cultural factors, mental health issues, independence and identity, and relationships.
