HIT 2605 - Professional Practice Experience

Prerequisite(s): HIT 2200; HIT 2300; HIT 2400 all with a grade of C or better; HIT 0050.
This course allows students to gain professional practice experience in a health information setting through 40 hours of externally supervised health information-related activities, including a project with a healthcare-related site. The experience is designed to give students the opportunity to apply knowledge from prior coursework to a real-world setting. Credit(s): 3
