Criminal Justice, B.S.


The criminal justice program includes courses in criminal investigation, police work, corrections, juvenile justice, police operations, crime scene analysis, criminal profiling and law which prepare our students for a variety of careers.

Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate a basic knowledge of the legal system of the United States.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge of the major components of the criminal justice system.
  3. Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills.
  4. Demonstrate an understanding of the role of and limitations on criminal justice professionals in our constitutional system.
  5. Understand the importance of ethical behavior.
  6. Recognize and be sensitive to issues related to diversity.
