Cellular and Molecular Biology Minor

A minor course of study in cell and molecular biology provides students the opportunity to practice molecular and genetic skills in multiple species of living organisms. The courses implement innovative learning environments such as individual hands-on molecular biology laboratories and authentic experiences such as antibiotic discovery and microbiological identifications. Furthermore, students communicate extensively in both oral and written formats, preparing for laboratory and patient management.
