MA 2430 - Probability & Statistics for Engineers Prerequisite(s): MA 1210 with a grade of C- or higher. An introductory course in probability and statistics for engineering majors. Concepts of probability are covered, followed by study of single variable and multivariate random variables and their probability distributions. Elementary statistics, estimation theory, and hypothesis testing are considered in detail, followed by a short introduction to random processes. Regression analysis is briefly considered.
