MRE 5100 - Mechanics of Robot Manipulators Prerequisite(s): Prior Mechanical Engineering (or closely related field) coursework. This course equips students with the skills to analyze the movement and forces of robotic systems, focusing on kinematics, dynamics, and control design. Topics include forward and inverse kinematics, differential kinematics, and linear control theory with feedback and feedforward strategies. Students learn to create dynamic models and intelligent controllers for basic robotic systems, covering kinematic representations, singularity analysis, and trajectory planning. Credit(s): 3
