This 12-credit hour four-course graduate certificate in health information and cybersecurity provides an understanding the fundamentals of the legal, ethical, and operational concerns of the health care industry along with a solid grounding in the complexities of responding to cybersecurity threats. This program also includes the domains from the HCISPP (HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner) certification. The HCISPP demonstrates the knowledge and ability to implement, manage and assess security and privacy controls to protect healthcare organizations using policies and procedures established by the cybersecurity experts at (ISC) ².
