This 18-credit hour, 6-course Undergraduate Certificate in Programming provides a comprehensive training in the following:

General-purpose programming using Python.
Web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Development of mobile application using Java or Kotlin.
Database development using Structured Query Language (SQL).

Student Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Describe basic computer organization.
Analyze the needs of a software‐development project.

If students are dual enrolled in a degree program and certificate, prerequisites/corequisites for the courses within the Programming certificate will be enforced. If students are only enrolled in a certificate, prerequisites/corequisites for the courses within the Programming certificate will not be enforced.
