The mission of the Exercise Science – Pre-Professional program is to prepare students with the knowledge and skills necessary for graduate studies in physical therapy or occupational therapy.
Students will be able to:
- Perform proficiency in fitness assessments.
- Develop safe and effective exercise programs based on the FITT principles for diverse populations.
- Communicate to various audiences using effective interpersonal skills.
- Evaluate behavior modification strategies to promote and maintain a physically active lifestyle.
